I've often thought that a semi-professional like myself could use a ladder system. I just wish that Al from Home Improvement wasn't trying to sell it to me. The Little Giant Ladder infomercial was originally hosted by a guy who had an actual home improvement show at one point. What happened to him? I don't want to see Al. I don't want to be reminded of how fleeting success can be, how your life can be ruined by an ugly teenager who says he wants to go to college, but instead just goes off and makes terrible movies, and how older, husky, aesthetically unpleasant male actors must feed on the scraps life throws them. I don't need that. I'm trying to buy a ladder system, damn it!
